Abstract:
Objectives To investigate the background resources of wild plants in Qinling National Botanical Garden, which is conducive to strengthening the protection and research of wild plant resources in the park.
Methods The wild plant resources in the park were systematically investigated using the line transect method, and the diversity and main characteristics of the wild seed plant flora in the park were analyzed.
Results A total of 150 species of wild seed plants were newly recorded in Qinling National Botanical Garden, resulting in a comprehensive list of 1310 species and subspecies of wild seed plants. This encompassed 1289 species belonging to 602 genera and 132 families.
Conclusions The flora of wild seed plants in Qinling National Botanical Garden is characterized by a high degree of complexity and diversity. From the perspective of distribution types, all 15 distribution types classified by Wu et al.were represented at the genus level. The temperate nature was clearly evident. The ratio of temperate genera to tropical genera ( Gw/Gr ) was 3.58, and the northern temperate distribution type was prominent. At the genus level, the northern temperate distribution type constituted the largest group in the Qinling National Botanical Garden, with a total of 179 genera, accounting for 33.58% of the non-widespread genera and 29.78% of the total genera.
