Abstract:
Objectives As a significant component of natural protection areas in our country, national forest parks play a pivotal role in safeguarding the natural ecosystem and preserving the cultural heritage. The identification and interpretation system serves as a cornerstone for national parks’s tourism and natural education initiatives, intending to enhance the forest park’s identification and interpretation system from a natural education perspective.
Methods Taking Fuzhou National Forest Park as the research area, the Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process were used to construct a satisfaction evaluation system for the sign interpretation system, and the principal component analysis method was used to study the influencing factors of the satisfaction of the sign interpretation system.
Results The results demonstrated that the public exhibited a high level of satisfaction with Fuzhou National Forest Park. The level of satisfaction was ranked from highest to lowest as follows: Sign plate appearance > natural education effect > Sign plate content > Sign plate layout > Interpretation method > Feedback improvement mechanism. Among them, sign plate appearance, natural education effect, and sign plate content had a significant impact on tourists' satisfaction. The key elements requiring improvement were the natural education effect, the sign plate content, and the feedback improvement mechanism.
Conclusions In the construction of the sign interpretation system in Fuzhou National Forest Park, the accuracy of the interpretation content should be improved to meet the reading needs of tourists; the way of explanation and expression should be enriched to give full play to the effect of natural education; a mature feedback and improvement mechanism should be established to promote the sustainable development of forest parks.
