Abstract:
Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park is an important showcase of the natural beauty of tropical rainforests and rich ethnic culture. Ecological experiences are effective ways for national parks to achieve multiple functions, such as ecosystem and biodiversity conservation, popularization, and education of ethnic culture. Franchising is an effective tool for practicing the concept of national parks and implementing sustainable management. This paper employed data collection, field observation and investigation as key research methods to sort out and summarize the overall core resource value performance and specific types of eco-experience resources in Hainan Rainforest National Park. It analyzed the necessity and challenges faced by the park in carrying out concessions, clarified the advantages and solutions of integrating eco-experience activities into the concession project design, and concluded that Hainan Rainforest National Park should focus on the values of science education in tropical rainforest, symbiotic education in ethnic culture and nature education in national parks when developing eco-experience concessions. The paper also provided specific recommendations for the development of eco-experience concessions in the park, which includes the design and feasibility analysis of the eco-experience franchise program, using the Parrot Mountain Museum of Flora and Fauna as an example.
