Abstract: The strategy of natural protected areas and ecological protection red line is of great significance for maintaining the safety of national and regional ecosystems and ensuring the sustainable development of China. Strengthening the research on the recreational activities and negative list management of the natural protected area system with national parks as the main body is conducive to the strategy promotion of the natural protected areas and the implementation of the ecological protection red line. Based on the analysis of the management guide manuals of 50 national parks on 5 continents in the world, this paper sorted out the negative list of management of recreational activities, community management, infrastructure construction about production, life, and recreational behaviors in foreign national parks. This paper focused on sorting out the prohibited and restricted activities in national parks, summarized related recreational management experiences, and provided a reference for the establishment of China's nature reserve system and management decision.
