Abstract:
National parks are natural areas delineated by the country that requires special protection, management and utilization in order to protect the integrity of typical ecosystems. The evaluation of the value of natural resource assets will provide a multi-angle relevant decision-making basis during the pilot process of the national park system in China. In this study, the value of forest and wetland resources of the Siberian Tigers and Leopard National Park's Wangqing County Bureau was evaluated, according to international mainstream natural resource asset evaluation method. Results showed that the total value of forest and wetland assets of the Siberian Tiger and Leopard National Park Wangqing County Bureau was 39.809 billion yuan in 2018, of which the total value of economic assets was 25.240 billion yuan, accounting for 63.40%, and the total value of ecological assets was 145,697.28 billion yuan, accounting for 36.60%. The total production value of forest and wetland ecosystem of the Wangqing County Bureau of the Siberian Tiger and Leopard National Park was 9.394 billion yuan, of which the total value of material products was 574 million yuan, accounting for 6.11%, and the total value of ecological services was 8.82 billion yuan, accounting for 93.89%. The value of ecological services was ranked as follows: biodiversity maintenance services > water conservation services > soil conservation services > flood regulation services > education and scientific research services > air purification services > carbon fixation and oxygen release services > leisure and recreation services. This study can allow the public to understand the value of the natural resources of national parks more intuitively, provide a scientific basis of improving and perfecting the management system of national parks and promoting the sustainable development of national parks.
