Abstract: National Park is a conservation and management model with mutual promotion between scientific protection and proper use of natural resources. It has been broadly used globally. By learning international advanced concepts and on the basis of local conditions and needs, Yunnan province has been actively exploring the national park conservation and management model. Based on the integrity protection of ecosystems, the path of comprehensive functions, including protection, education, scientific research, recreation and social development has been explored. This paper reviews the research, exploration and practice of national park progress in Yunnan province, and provides suggestions on management system and mechanism in the future.
